Applications to British Primary and British Secondary and High School Sections for the academic year 2019-2020

If you wish to apply for a place in the British Primary Section or the British Secondary and High School Section for the next academic year starting August 19th 2019, please submit your application before February 27th, 2019. Based on the school's priority of places in its Admissions Policy, selected candidates will be invited for entrance assessments / tryout sessions / interviews from February to May, at which time parent interviews will also be scheduled.

The application form for both school sections can be downloaded from our website (Admissions - Application forms). Note that applications received after February 27th, 2019 will only be considered for August entry if places are still available after all other applications have been processed.

 

Applications to the French Section for the academic year 2019-2020

If you wish to apply for a place in the French Section for the next academic year starting August 19th 2019, please submit your application as soon as possible. Limited places are available in our primary and secondary classes for 2019-2020.

Priority for places is given to French nationals, French speakers, and siblings of children currently enrolled in the French Section. Remaining places in our Petite Section class (3 years old) are allocated following parent meetings with the Primary Head. From Moyenne Section (4 years old) to Terminale (18 years old), selected non-French candidates are invited to attend try-out sessions/ interviews in February and March 2019. Initial offers of places are made in April 2019.

A note on FS language requirements: applicants to PS (3 years old) do not need to speak French or English to be considered for a place in the French Section. Some English or French knowledge is an advantage for applicants to MS (4 years old). Applicants to GS (5 years old) must have a strong knowledge of either French or English. Applicants from CP (6 years old) up must have an excellent command of French.

Enrolment in FAL (French as an additional language) classes is a requirement for newly enrolled non-French speaking students in MS and GS. EAL (English as an additional language) classes are available to newly enrolled French-speaking students from CP to CM2.

Applications to the German Section for the academic year 2019-2020

If you wish to apply for a place in the German Section for the next academic year starting August 19th 2019, please submit your application before February 27th, 2019. Candidates may be required to attend interviews / assessments based on availability.

A note on GS language requirements: For applications to the Kindergarten, applicants without knowledge of German can be considered. For applications to Klasse 1 and up, sufficient language skills are required. The language requirements are based on the Common European Framework for language learning as shown in the table in the application form.
