International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

The two-year IGCSE programme, which covers the first two years of High School, is the start of a four-year journey that will give students access to some of the world’s best universities and courses. The IGCSE programme provides not only internationally recognised qualifications, but is also great preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

The IGCSE is a two-year course that offers both prescribed and free-choice subject selection. The breadth of study is a key element of the IGCSE programme that helps students to make informed choices as they enter the IB Diploma programme.

The course culminates in examinations and the awarding of certificates by the examinations board: Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Cambridge Assessment was founded by the University of Cambridge in 1858. The Cambridge IGCSE qualification is recognised by the world’s best universities and employers, giving students a wide range of options in their education and career.
